Every month we have bills to pay and other necessary expenses to keep Esp(a)ço open and running. Since we don’t receive (nor do we want!) funding from the government or corporations, we rely entirely on the community’s support.

How much does it cost to keep Esp(a)ço running?
Our ESSENTIAL monthly expenses to keep our doors open are as follows (approximate amounts):
- Water: $12
- Electricity: $26.50
- Property tax: $11.20
- Building administration fee: $16.25
- Cleaning supplies: $10
And we also have other expenses necessary to keep Esp(a)ço running. A maintenance fund to address any infrastructure needs or emergency that may arise. Support for transportation and food to ensure that collective members can be at Esp(a)ço to open the doors.

- Food: $40
So, if we can raise U$175 per month, we’ll be in great shape!
We still dream of obtaining more resources, in addition to those listed here, so that we can offer financial assistance to the members of the collective, enabling them to keep Esp(a)ço open for longer, rather than working themselves to exhaustion for some capitalist. Therefore, even if we reach our goal, if you can contribute more, please do so. This will strengthen our collective, the local anarchist infrastructure, and our mutual aid initiatives.
